Welcome to Dashvel ("Service", "Platform"), operated by CodexCafe ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website creation, hosting, and management services specifically designed for educational institutions (schools, colleges, coaching centers).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. Description of Service
Dashvel provides a platform for educational institutions ("Client", "you", "your") to create, manage, and host websites. Features vary based on the selected plan (e.g., Basic Hosting, Advanced Hosting, Premium Hosting) as detailed on our Pricing page. Services include pre-designed templates, custom design options (as add-ons), hosting, security (SSL, CDN), maintenance, updates, an administrative panel, and various modules like notice boards, enquiry forms, and erp integrations.
2. Account Registration and Use
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Content: You are solely responsible for all content (text, images, videos, data) uploaded or displayed on your website. You warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize us to use all content. Content must not infringe on third-party rights, be illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
- Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your website and its content comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy laws (e.g., regarding student/faculty data).
- Conduct: You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the Service, us, or other users.
4. Fees and Payment
- Plans: Service fees are based on the selected plan. Hosting plans (Basic, Advanced, Premium) are billed monthly or annually, as described on the Pricing page.
- Add-Ons: Optional services (e.g., custom design, extra storage, domain registration, business email) are billed separately.
- Payment: You agree to pay all applicable fees in a timely manner. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your Service. Payments are generally non-refundable except as specified in our 30-day money-back guarantee for paid plans (excluding certain costs like domain registration).
- Taxes: All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.
5. Intellectual Property
- Our IP: The Service, platform, underlying technology, pre-designed templates, and all related software and materials provided by us are the exclusive property of CodexCafe and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service according to your plan and these Terms.
- Your IP: Your website content remains your intellectual property. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
6. Hosting, Maintenance, and Support
We provide hosting, standard maintenance, security updates, and backups as part of the Service. Support levels vary by plan. While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for data loss, although we take regular backups (frequency depends on the plan).
7. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We may update features, add new services, or change pricing for future billing cycles. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
8. Termination
- By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL CODEXCAFE, NOR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless CodexCafe and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) Content posted on the Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ranchi, India.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
